Original era manufacture. Issue rifle cleaning kit for the K98 rifle. Pressed steel tobacco can with a steel patina metal surface finish, maker marked G. Appel, 1937.The contents include, linked pull-through, steel oiler, and both cleaning brushes, the floor plate tool is present and is also maker marked APPEL, and in the bottom compartment are wool felt cleaning patches .
