Original era manufacture. Issue rifle cleaning kit for the K98 rifle. Pressed steel tobacco can with an ordnance blue painted metal surface finish. Maker marked G. Appel.The contents include, linked pull-through, steel oiler, and both cleaning brushes, the floor plate tool is present, and in the bottom compartment are three, circular, wool felt cleaning patches . The floor plate tool is maker marked Gustav Appel.
