Original era manufacture. Matching numbers k98 bayonet, fze44, 2798b. The blade is clean, evidence of an old sharpening with a mix of steel patina and blue finish. Dark red bakelite grips in sound condition, old cleaned surface corrosion on the pommel.Minor denting to the steel scabbard, throat screw is present, surface corrosion on the frog stud.
