Original era manufacture. Prewar quality manufacture with a satin blue finish to the blade surface, unsharpened edge and sharp tip. Dark plum bakelite grips showing normal wear, no cracks or chips. The pommel and scabbard surface show a strong surface finish of original blue, light surface dimpling to the flashguard. Matching numbers blade to scabbard of 555h. Dismounted leather frog with loose stitching on each side, rivets intact. A very nice original bayonet.
