Original era manufacture. A clean example with a satin blue finished blade maker marked cof on the reverse ricasso and 1940 on the spine.. Most of the original finish remains on the blade with typical runner wear near the tip. Dark plum bakelite grips in good order, mix of blue and steel patina to the guard and pommel. Clear waffenamts  on the pommel, working lock button. Clean original scabbard with some very shallow surface denting on each side, more felt than seen. Maker marked and dated on the reverse of the throat Carl Eickhorn 1939. Nice clean bayonet.
