Original era manufacture. This is a non-matching by serial number but does match by maker, blade to scabbard. Nice satin blue finish to the blade, showing light runner wear, nice blue finish to the guard and pommel, with dark plum bakelite grips. The scabbard also has a nice blue finish with an additional post WWII serial number on the frog stud and a rivet instead of a throat screw. Both the blade and scabbard are dated 41 with an i letter code for Elite Diamant. Apparently the single letter i code was only used for one year. Crease in the scabbard near the tip. A very clean bayonet.
