Original period manufacture. Black, smooth finished leather with riveted and sewn construction. Maker marked on the reverse with an RB number and date of 43. All four steel rivets are in place, stitching looks to have been redone with the center stitch line left empty. The frog is sound, with no damage beyond normal age and wear.
