Original period manufacture. A basically sound example, dark red bakelite grips, rough finished blade showing the makers code fnj (Alcoso) and date of 44 on the ricasso. Most of the original finish remains on the blade with some light surface corrosion near the tip and on the pommel, lock button works properly. The steel scabbard displays a near matching finish, is dent free with some light surface corrosion. Original black leather mounted pattern frog with sound stitching and all rivets in place. The pommel strap opening has been widened for some reason. Nice vintage look to this one.
