Original era manufacture. Satin blue finish to the blade with some very light peppering to the tip from old cleaned corrosion. The cutting edge has some very tiny dents to its edge but nothing terrible. Coppell.Gmbh. on the ricasso and 38 on the spine. Sound dark plum grips showing typical age and wear. Dark steel patina to the pommel and guard. Blue steel scabbard with light, cleaned surface corrosion, dent-free. Dismounted black leather frog with steel rivets and sound stitching. The leather is split just above the frog stud.
