Original period manufacture. A very clean example with a very nice satin blue finish to all of the metal components, no blade issues just very minor runner wear and set off with a nice pair of dark plum bakelite grips. The serial number 9230c appears on the blade and scabbard throat, with the date 38 on the spine and makers initials of J.Sch. on the ricasso (Jetter & Scheerer Tutlingen), WaA155 on the pommel and scabbard tip. Very clean 1943 dated, mounted pattern black leather frog with white top stitching, maker coded kvz on the reverse. Army NCO green and silver bayonet knot wrapped around the body of the frog. The acorn came off the knot strap after we purchased the bayonet (of course) and we have attempted a light repair to keep it in place. Overall its is a very nice bayonet from a less well known maker.
