Original era manufacture. German WWIIS84/98 bayonet mismatched with original dismounted pattern frog.  Herder manufacture, 1940 dated spine. Leather frog in good condition. hand engraved on the pommel is Novak, Rennes, France. The blade show evidence of an old sharpening, the point is slightly blunted.
