German WWII S84/98 Bayonet & Frog, Richard Herder 1937, Matching

Original era manufacture. An overall clean example. The bayonet is complete in all respects, save for the scabbard throat screw. The scabbard is nearly dent-free with just a touch of surface corrosion on the reverse. Sound dark plum bakelite grips, with a black leather mounted pattern leather frog which has had it's pommel strap removed. The blade is in the bright, with no finish remaining. It has had an intelligent sharpening done to the blade edge, sharp point remains, with no pitting to the metal surface.  Matching numbers 4011, Rich Herder.
