Original era manufacture. A typical, service-used example, mismatched serial numbers. Bayonet was made by Richard Herder with a 39 date on the spine. Blue finish with some scattered, light surface corrosion, tip slightly rounded. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair, blue finish to the guard and pommel.The scabbard displays a steel patina finish with some sizable dents in its surface. Sound mounted pattern black leather frog with all rivets present.
