Original era manufacture. A clean example of the WWII German K98 bayonet. Satin blue finish bayonet with non-matching numbers blade to scabbard, The blade is  maker marked E.u.F. Horster and 39 dated on the spine. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the blade surface, no corrosion issues.Dark plum baketlite grips in sound condition, denting to the top of the flash guard, and decent amount of blue finish remaining on the pommel. Clean dent-free steel scabbard, with a fair amount of original blue finish remaining, with some very light scattered surface corrosion. Maker marked s/245. G, serial number 1549a.
