Original era manufacture. Mismatched by serial number, but matched by maker, Jos.Corts & Sohn, with a 1938 dated scabbard, and a (19)39 dated blade spine.The blade is clean, with some sharpening to the point, and some denting to the spine, clear markings on the ricasso. Mix of blue finish and steel patina to the guard and pommel, original finish wooden grips in sound condition.The scabbard is pretty battered but no corrosion issues, with good blue finish remaining. Clearly marked with a Navy property number below the makers name, N14104k.
