Original era manufacture. Standard pattern, early war S84/98 bayonet with nearly all of its original finish remaining, on the blade, guard, and pommel. Issue date of 1940 on the spine,. matching maker Berg & Co.,  serial numbered 6276.Nice dark plum colored bakelite grips with no cracks or chips, original finish steel scabbard which is dent free.Very nice black leather frog with intact stitching and all rivets in place.
