Original era manufacture. A very clean example most of the original blue finish remaining on the metal components. Dark plum colored bakelite grips in good repair. Matching numbers blade to scabbard of 3146a with a spine date of 40. Original 1941 dated black leather frog in decent shape, however the pommel strap is missing its aluminum stud and the opposite strap is broken at the tip. The scabbard body is basically clean with a shallow crease in its surface just below the bottom of the frog.Nice blade with some scattered surface clouding from age.
