Original era manufacture. A clean, matching numbers bayonet, showing a satin blue finish on the blade surface, with matching numbers blade to scabbard 2847h. Maker marked E. Pack on the ricasso and scabbard throat, with a 1939 date on the scabbard, and 39 on the spine. Minor finish wear to the blade surface, with no corrosion issues. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard, pommel and flash guard, with dark plum bakelite grips. All steel scabbard with throat screw, few small dents, with what looks to be an old cold-blue finish applied to the surface. The blade point is slightly rounded.
