Original era manufacture. German WWII matching numbers K98 bayonet and scabbard. Maker marked Rich. Herder, serial number 5721d with a 1938 date. Satin blue finish to the blade. no corrosion issues. Mix of blue and steel patina to the guard, pommel. Denting to the flash guard. Dark plum bakelite grips. Minor denting to the scabbard showing a mix of steel patina and blue, the throat screw is present.
