Original era manufacture. Typical example to be encountered today, 39 dated blade by Horster, scabbard dated 43 and coded fze. Old, light sharpening to the blade edge, dark wood grips showing typical marring from age and use. Dark steel patina to the pommel and guard, fairly dent free scabbard with its throat screw present.
