Original period manufacture. Standard K98 bayonet of WWII but without a makers code or name on the ricasso. Two waffenamts on the pommel and a serial number on the guard. The scabbard is maker marked, of the correct pattern, but not original to the bayonet. It is marked MUNDLOS 40, with a blue finish with a crease on the reverse, scabbard throat screw is missing.
