Original era manufacture. Standard K98 bayonet with a blue finished blade, maker marked on the ricasso PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO.SOLINGEN and on the opposite side serial number 14455 R.P.. Nearly all of the blade finish remains, no damage to the cutting edge and the tip is quite sharp. Dark plum bakelite grips with a mix of blue steel and dark steel patina to the pommel, flashguard and guard. The unmarked blue steel scabbard is clean, showing a dent in its surface on the reverse. No other waffenamts or markings visible on this commerical grade bayonet.
