German WWII S84/98 Bayonet, S/155 Police Proofed Flashguard

Original era manufacture. Horster manufactured, commercial grade finish bayonet without any military waffenamt proofs. Satin blue finished blade and pommel with very nice dark plum bakelite grips. On the pommel end of the flashguard is a Police eagle with the letters Stn and a number 6 below. On the reverse ricasso is the makers code S/155G. Dent free blue finished scabbard which bears the markings S/155 1937 on the reverse, and a serial number 6101f on the obverse. The bayonet and scabbard are likely a married set but a pretty close match, certainly condition-wise. Nice bayonet.
