Original era manufacture. A complete, non-matching example, with a 44 cvl marked blade, and Eickhorn 1938 marked scabbard throat.Mostly a mix of steel patina and blue finish to all of the metal components, original finish wood grips showing typical marring from service use and wear. Unsharpened blade edge with a sharp point, very lightly dented steel scabbard with some light surface corrosion.
