Original era manufacture. Standard S84/98 bayonet with a most of the original blue finish remaining on blade and scabbard. Maker marked and dated 41 fze on the blade, few spots of staining and very minor surface corrosion, point slightly rounded. Dark plum bakelite grips, original, but likely replaced as the screw washers stick out a bit. Nice finish remaining on the pommel and flash guard, lock button works properly. Dent free steel scabbard with original finish, marked 41 crs on the reverse of the throat, small spot of corrosion on the body, throat screw is present.
