Original era manufacture. A very fine condition S84/98 bayonet with a most of the original blue finish remaining on blade and scabbard. Maker marked and dated 44 fze on the blade, point remains quite sharp. Attractive dark red bakelite grips with no issues. Nice finish remaining on the pommel and flash guard, lock button works properly. Dent free steel scabbard with near 100% original finish, marked 44 crs on the reverse of the throat, small spot of corrosion on the body, throat screw is present.
