German WWII S84/98 Dismounted Bayonet Frog, 1941

Original period manufacture. Black smooth finished leather with riveted and sewn construction. Maker marked on the reverse.  All four steel rivets are in place and the stitching is pretty sound. Small slit on the reverse of the frog so as to be able to hang the bayonet in a wall locker or bunker wall. I've seen this many times on German bayonets in the past.
