Original era manufacture. Steel patina finish overall, decent blade with a slightly rounded point and a few shallow nicks in its cutting edge. Dark plum bakelite grips. What is interesting about this particular example is the double year date on the blade spine 39 40 and a really odd set of letters on the reverse ricasso. On the obverse, the serial number has been removed and a handstamped 33 as a replacement.
