Original era manufacture. A very clean example with nearly all of its original finish remaining. Matching numbers blade to scabbard of 0427ww and makers code and date, asw44 (Herder). The blade shows typical milling marks for a late war blade and the tip has a slight wiggle to it. Nice dark red bakelite grips with no damage, light amount of surface corrosion to the flashguard and pommel. The scabbard is dent free with a nice finish, just a touch of light surface corrosion. Very sound dismounted pattern frog with four aluminum rivets.
