Original era manufacture. A clean example of the WWII German Wehrmacht service bayonet. Dark plum bakelite grips in nice condition. Satin blue finish to the guard, pommel and dent-free scabbard, the throat screw is in place, with the flashguard in good condition.The lock button works properly, and overall the bayonet presents a very high level of machine finish. Scattered about the bayonet, tip of the pommel, guard and scabbard body, are areas of speckling to the surfaces. Very nice blade with most of the satin blue finish remaining, 41 asw. Cleaned scabbard surface, 43 agv.
