Original era manufacture. A clean example of the standard Wehrmacht service bayonet of WWII. Made by Mundlos (ab code) in 1943 with original wood grips. The blade is clean with no damage, might have been touched up with cold blue. Clear waffenamt proofs on the pommel, again with some cold-blue touch up. Nice nearly dent free scabbard with a waffenamt proof on the reverse of the ball, and a curious TR serial number on the throat. Lance added the following: Although unmarked the scabbard was made by Paul Weyersberg & Companie, Solingen in 1941. Many are marked with the date/name code of 41crs while some are not. This applies to both bayonets and scabbards. Weyersberg was the sole producer of the Tr stamped pieces and they are not common.
