Original era manufacture. An out-of-the-woods example with a sound blade, original paint scabbard and an original but tattered leather hanger. The blade is clean with scattered mottling from age but no corrosion. The blade has not been sharpened and the point is sharp. Nice original grip with both emblems present, no cracks, chips or missing pieces. Alloy upper and lower guards which show lots of period patina. The scabbard retains nearly all of its original paint except for a curious rectangle on the reverse which shows black, most likely this was a period repaint. Plated scabbard fittings with a very lightly dented ball.
