Original era manufacture. A very clean example of this popular WWII dagger. Plated metal fittings with a brown painted steel scabbard with an original brown leather snap hanger. A very clean blade which bears the RZM code M7/36 for Horster. The blade is quite nice with a bit of age darkening on the reverse near the RZM proof, original polish everywhere with normal runner marks only. Very clean wood grip with both emblems in place. There is a hairline crack running up the center or the grip from the lower guard. It measures about 1.5 inches in length and is very, very hard to notice. Great looking original dagger.
