Original era manufacture. Early pattern example with nickel fittings and an anodized scabbard finish. The blade is quite clean with the makers logo on the reverse. There is a small amount of discoloration on the blade near the tip. Sound wooden grips with no chipping or surface loss. The scabbard body retains most of its lacquer covering, all fitting screws are present and the ball tip is just slightly dented. Attached to the suspension ring is a nice original leather hanger, Assman marked on the clip. Sound original example from an unusual maker.
