Original era manufacture. A very clean example of this popular WWII dagger. Plated metal fittings with a brown painted steel scabbard. A very clean blade which bears the RZM code M7/81/38 for Karl Tiegel, Riemberg. The blade is quite nice with a tiny bit of age darkening and spotting. Original polish everywhere with normal runner marks only. Very clean wood grip with both emblems in place, chip on the reverse near the guard. Upper guard a bit loose. Nice original paint on the steel scabbard with an undamaged ball tip.
