Original period manufacture. Standard pattern SA/NSDAP enlisted buckle of stamped brass with a nickel alloy center disc. Patina finish to the buckle, two solder marks on the reverse securing the disc in place.This buckle formed part of the WWII souvenirs of  Captain L. Smith, 183rd FA Battalion, which arrived in France in June 1944. The small photo shows Captain Smith in Europe, dated November 1944. The photo is not included in the lot.
