Original period manufacture. Magnetic EK2 with a well worn original ribbon. The frame measures 43mm across and indicates an early production EK2 made from stocks of existing WWI pattern EK's left over from WWI. As this slim-line version of the EK was in violation of Hitler's desires for a larger EK, the use of the leftover parts was soon stopped. Subsequently, Schinkel style EK's are difficult to find. We show this cross next to a standard WWII model (left side) to give you an idea of the size difference. The price is only for the Schinkel cross.
