Original era manufacture. This interesting grenade is apparently relatively unknown and goes by the moniker of a "Shaving Stick" grenade. The body is of machined steel, which stands 55 mm in height, with an overal height of 85 mm to the top of the fuse. It's diameter is about 37 mm. There is a threaded fuse base which fits into the body, which is also threaded to accept the screw-in igniter. Stamped into the bottom is a waffenamt proof, either WaA815, or WaA315, the second one makes more sense (at least to me) as that was assigned to Maerkisches Walzwerk a maker of ammunition and chargers, 815 was Steyer-Daimler-Puch. It is completely empty of explosives, the top of the fuse "pull" may have been repainted, the body and threaded top display a nice old steel patina finish. This came in with all of the other INERT grenades we listed today. USA SALES ONLY.
