German WWII Shooting Society Medals, Veterans Estate

Original period manufacture. This lot consists of two medals as awarded by a German shooting, or marksmanship society during the Third Reich Era. The first is a two piece stamped star, with an enameled center, perhaps having a pin attachment at some point. It measures roughly 70 x 70 mm. The second, is also a two piece star with an applied eagle at center. This badge is engraved on the reverse with what may be a name, and the year date of 1933. The eagle needs to be reattached. This star measures 55 x 60 mm with a suspension loop at top. These items represent German souvenirs brought home from WWII by a local Arizona veteran. Unfortunately our seller was not able to provide details regarding the gentleman's service. However he did keep the box which held the items in the Veterans home for many years. This box will be included with the helmet.
