Original era manufacture. Aluminum badge with a copper wash, which in turn was covered in a silver finish. Circular lathe marks visible on the reverse. Illustrated on page 56, figure 2.11, The Infantry Assault Badge by Sascha Weber. Very lightweight, normal age and wear.
