Original era manufacture. A nice quality zinc example, maker marked 65 on the reverse from the firm of Klein and Quenzer. Mix of original silver wash and zinc patina finish with a standard pinback reverse. The original issue case is quite sound, and rather interesting in that a previous owner, perhaps the GI himself, wrote a description of the award inside the lid.A better than average zinc silver wound badge with a very nice case.
