Original period manufacture. Fairly clean example, largely due to the fact that the 18 year old soldier entered the service in December of 1944. Nice photo of him wearing a late pattern tunic stapled inside the cover. He recieved a basic issue of equipment and appears to have been posted to the 12th company, Grenadier Rgt 41. Swastika removed from the cover. Two 1945 dated ration cards inside the rear cover.
