German WWII Soldier Desk Statue

Original period manufacture. This wonderfully posed desk statue stands 10.5 inches (28 cm)in height including its marblebase. He portrays a fully equipped German Infantryman in the act of firing his Gewehr 98. He is made of white metal with a very nice silver patina finish, with a pale yellow colored marble base. No damage to mention, just a few very small chips or nicks in the edges of the base. If this was an Imperial era soldier we would be keeping him.
