Original period manufacture. An interesting lot of documents from one of the German Labor Fronts KDF cruise ships, the Oceana. Most of the documents are dated 1936, baggage tag, meal seating card, ticket stubs and the like. Also included is a hand written letter in pencil. Information is sketchy regarding the history of the Oceana, supposedly she brought the Condo Legion home from Spain prior to the beginning of WWII. She also was reported to have served as a barracks-ship for the Kriegsmarine, and struck a mine but survived. Postwar she was given to the Soviets who renamed her, Sabir. She was scrapped in 1963.
