Original era manufacture. Early pattern pegs, made of wood and metal, lot of four, with a 1940 dated gray canvas transport bag. The pegs show use, but are not damaged or missing any parts.Similar examples may be seen on page 150, Volume I, of Ulrich & Herr's book, The German Infantry, from 1871 to 1914.
