Original era manufacture. Trench art aluminum lighter, with Kroatia 1944 inscribed on one side, and initials on the other. This lighter formed part of the WWII souvenirs of Captain L. Smith, 183rd FA Battalion, which arrived in France in June 1944. The small photo shows Captain Smith in Europe, dated November 1944. The photo is not included in the lot.
