Original era manufacture. Wooden resin filled body which shows several patent marks and makers initials H.R.E.42 on its reverse. Original canvas suspension with a RITTER marked snaphook. At the time of our purchase this nice old canteen was without a cup, we had this 35 dated ratty old cup lying in our spare parts box and we placed it on this canteen, now its complete.
