Original era manufacture. This is an interesting insignia, never seen anything like it. 50x80 mm black/yellow cotton embroidered emblem which is pattern marked on the reverse. Removed from a uniform of some sort, normal age and wear. This may be a military unit emblem, possibly Kriegsmarine.
