Original era manufacture. Stamped alloy badge of a stylized map of Sardinia with a diagonal sword. Measures 17 x 27 mm.The 90th Panzer-Grenadier Division was formed in Sardinia in July 1943, to replace the 90th Light Division, destroyed with the Afrika Korps in May of that year.It served in Italy for the remainder of the war, surrendering near Bologna in 1945.
