Original era manufacture. An 18 x 18 mm emblem of a mounted officer, jumping a hurdle. Silver washed alloy, with a German pattern mounting pin.Formed in 1941, it served on the Eastern Front until destroyed at Stalingrad in 1943. Reformed in France in the Spring of 1943, it  once more was sent to the East, serving there until the surrender in 1945.
